    We know there are other wedding newspapers out there, but here’s why ours are on another level (and why couples who find us never look back!): We singlehandedly put wedding newspapers on the map in the UK wedding scene back in 2021. What started as a unique idea for our own wedding originally in 2020 quickly became a must-have wedding detail, and by 2022, our newspapers were everywhere—in the hands of top wedding planners, suppliers, and pretty much every bride who wanted something different. When wedding queen Georgie Mitchell (aka Georgina Rose Events) chose our newspapers for her own wedding, it set off a trend that every bride wanted in on. Since then, we’ve been the go-to for top wedding industry names like content creators Mrs Bunn & Social Sisters, and even celebrities—from professional footballer Angharad James' wedding to Amy Turner to Dancing on Ice star Alex Murphy's wedding to YouTube king Paul Klein of Woody & Kleiny. Oh, and we’ve also done a handful of NDA weddings—but you’ll just have to trust us on that one. 😉 We’re not just another wedding stationery supplier—we’re the original, the trendsetters, and the ones trusted by industry experts, celebs, and thousands of couples who want a wedding detail that actually makes an impact. There's not a template in sight! ✦ Unlike Etsy templates or DIY options, we don’t do one-size-fits-all. Every single newspaper is designed from scratch, meaning it’s built around you, your story, and your wedding style. We'll handle everything, so you don't have to ✦ If you've ever battled with design software or wrestled with a home printer, you’ll know—DIY isn’t always the easy (or stress-free) option.   • The Wedding Newspaper process & timescales
    As soon as you know you want wedding newspapers, we highly recommend placing your order to secure your slot. We have a limited number of slots per month, so booking early ensures your newspapers are locked in! Here’s how the process works: 📌 When you place your order – Your slot is secured! 📌 Around 3 months before your wedding – We’ll check in to remind you of the process. 📌 Around 6 weeks before – We’ll reach out for your final content. 📌 Within the next few weeks – We’ll design your newspaper, send it for approval, and get it printed. 📌 At least 2 weeks before the wedding – Your newspapers will be printed and in the post to you. If there are any delays your side for whatever reason, please don't worry, we can be as flexible as you need us to and we guarantee you’ll have your newspapers in time for the big day. For all other products, we’ll dispatch them within 7 working days of ordering.
  • Do you offer design services for other stationery
    We do indeed! ✨ Alongside our wedding newspapers, we can create bespoke wedding stationery to match your vibe perfectly. Whether you need posters, cards, invites, table plans, welcome signs, banners – you name it, we can do it! Fonts, layouts, margins… it’s a lot! We take care of all the fiddly bits, so you can focus on the fun stuff. ✦ Completely custom – unlike generic Etsy downloads, your newspaper is designed 100% from scratch.   • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept most major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout process, at the moment we don't accept American Express. To make things super simple, you can pay by Apple or Google pay at the checkout. (Top tip! Please make sure your address is correct when using Apple Pay... we're speaking from personal experience when we ordered something by Apple Pay and it was delivered 200 miles away at an old address...)

  • Can I change my order?
    Yes! If you’d like to add more copies, upgrade to a bigger size, or even change your newspaper size entirely before we start designing, just send us an email – we’re happy to help! One thing to keep in mind – while you can add copies or size up, you can’t downgrade or reduce the number of copies once your order is placed. If you’re unsure of numbers but want to secure your slot, we recommend placing a minimum order of 40 A4 two sided's and adding more/changing size later if needed. Once we’ve designed your newspaper, if you decide to upgrade to a different size, there will be a £25 redesign fee to cover the extra work. But don’t worry – we’ll do everything we can throughout the process to check that you’re happy with your chosen size before we start designing. We know wedding planning is expensive, so we want to help avoid any extra costs wherever possible!
  • So, what exactly is a wedding newspaper?
    A wedding newspaper is the ultimate wedding detail—part entertainment, part keepsake, and 100% iconic. It’s your love story, it's all the details your guests need to know about the wedding day, it's a way to show all the hard work that's gone into creating your wedding day, it's a way to honour your loved ones who have passed away, it's a way to shoutout your amazing guests, it's somewhere to share those gorge engagement shoot pictures, it's interactive and it's a super affordable way to keep your guests entertained. It's everything you want it to be! All wrapped up in one ridiculously cool printed masterpiece.
  • How does it all work?
    We’ve made the process super simple and stress-free – here’s how it all works from start to finish! 1. Place your order As soon as you know you want a wedding newspaper, head to our website and place your order. This secures your spot in our design queue – we have a limited number of slots per month, so booking early is always a good idea! 2. Send your content Once you've placed your order, you’ll receive a link to our questionnaire. This is where you’ll send us all the details – your content, ideas, and inspiration. Don’t worry, it’s super easy, and we’ll guide you through every step! 3. Ticking off the 'to do' list Around 6–8 weeks before your wedding, we’ll check in to make sure we have all your content and images. If anything’s missing or needs tweaking, we’ll let you know so it’s all good to go before design begins. 4. Let's get designing Once your content is final, we’ll allocate you a design date – this is when we’ll work our magic and create your newspaper! It’s always worth keeping some time free around this date so you can check over your preview when it arrives. 5. It's preview time On your design date, we’ll send over a preview of your wedding newspaper. This is your chance to check everything over, make sure it’s exactly how you want it, and request any final tweaks. 6. Tweaks & printing We'll make any changes needed until you're 100% happy, we’ll ask for your final sign-off, and then it’s off to print! We’ll take care of the rest and make sure your newspapers are printed and shipped at least two weeks before your wedding. We'll always check before printing to see if you need any extra copies too, so you're fully covered with everything you need from us. ✨ That’s it – easy, stress-free, and totally custom to you!   • Is there a minimum order?
    Yes, the minimum order for wedding newspapers is 40 copies. If you're having a more intimate wedding then 40 might seem like too many, but if you're set on having them here's some ideas what you can do with the extras; ✦ Send them with your thank-you cards – a little extra memento for guests to relive the day. ✦ Gift them to people who couldn’t make it – perfect for family & friends who missed the wedding but still want to feel part of it. ✦ Take them into work – your colleagues will want to see the details, and it’s a fun way to share the wedding magic. After all, you've been talking about your wedding for the last year! ✦ Keep a few for yourself – hello new wall art! If you’re on the fence, having too many is always better than not enough—guests will take them home, and once they’re gone, they’re gone! 😊
  • I'm getting married abroad...
    Sounds dreamy – we love a destination wedding! ✈️☀️ To help keep everything on track, we can create your newspapers earlier than needed so you have plenty of time for travel, shipping, or sending them ahead to your wedding destination. Just let us know your wedding date and travel plans when ordering by adding the date you'd ideally like to receive your newspapers into the box on the product page. We’ll make sure everything is ready in plenty of time! If you have any special requests, just drop us an email – we’re always happy to help! 😊

  • Making the most out of your newspaper
    Your wedding newspaper isn’t just a cute extra—it’s a moment, a keepsake, and a total guest favourite. Here’s how to make sure you’re getting the most out of it: ✦ If you’re using them at the ceremony, make sure there’s enough for every guest. People will pick them up, flick through them, and take them home! ✦ Add some tabloid sized versions of your newspaper onto your order before we head to print, we've got some special bundle offers to save you money and make the most epic memories.
  • What's the difference between each size?
    We have three main sizes to choose from: A5, A4, and A3 – with different format options depending on how much content you’d like to include. 📰 A5 booklet ✦ 4 printable sides, A5 size when folded 📰 A4 two sided ✦ 2 printable sides, A4 size 📰 A4 booklet ✦ 4 printable sides, A4 size when folded 📰 A3 two sided (tabloid size) ✦ 2 printable sides, A3 size 📰 A3 booklet (tabloid size) ✦ 4 printable sides, A3 size when folded Whether you’re after a cute and compact A5, a classic A4, or a statement tabloid-style A3, there’s a perfect fit for your wedding! Top tips ⭐️ The most popular size in 2024 was the A4 booklet ⭐️ On average, around 60% add some tabloid newspapers onto their order at the printing stage for 'getting ready' shots on the morning of the wedding
  • How do I submit my content and images?
    When you placed your order, you should have received two emails: 📌 A confirmation email with your order number. 📌 An email with a link to our questionnaire, where you’ll submit your content and images. We recommend sending your content over around 8 weeks before your wedding and following the instructions in the questionnaire for uploading photos. This helps keep everything on track and ensures your newspaper is designed and printed in plenty of time! If you can’t find either of these, don’t worry! Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.
  • Will I see a preview before printing?
    Absolutely – we’re not crazy! We know how important it is for everything to be perfect and there's plenty of opportunity to make that happen. Around 6 weeks before your wedding, we’ll reach out to confirm your final content. From there, we’ll allocate you a design date, which is when you’ll receive a preview of your newspaper. It’s worth setting aside a little time to check it over when it lands in your inbox! If you need any tweaks, we’ll swiftly get them sorted. Before we print, we’ll always ask for your final sign-off, so you can be 100% sure everything looks perfect before giving us the green light to print 💚
  • How much can I personalise?
    The simple answer? Everything! 🎉 The beauty of what we do is that we don’t use templates – every single newspaper is designed from scratch, just for you. That means your wedding newspaper won’t look like something anyone can grab off Etsy or that 500 people off TikTok have mass downloaded the same template– it’s completely unique to you and your day. We believe weddings should be personal, and a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t cut it. Whether it’s your love story, fun facts, crossword puzzles, or heartfelt thank-yous, your newspaper will be as unique as the two of you! 💛 Got a wild idea? Let’s make it happen!
  • How involved can I be in the design?
    As involved as you want to be! 🎨✨ Our questionnaire is super thorough, so there’s plenty of opportunity for you to tell us exactly what you want – from layout ideas to little details that make it so you. But if you’re a Type A bride (or groom!) who loves to take control, that’s totally fine too! Whether you want to send us font and newspaper inspo, have a strong vision in mind, or even design it yourself, we’ve got you covered. We also offer a print-only service if you’d rather create your own masterpiece and just need us to bring it to life in print. Whatever level of involvement feels right for you – we’re here to make it happen! 😊
  • Shipping options
    Everything we send is shipped via Royal Mail Tracked, so it’s super speedy! Once your order is collected from us—usually the day after we confirm it’s on its way—it should be with you within a day or so. ✨ Because our postage option is so fast and tracked, we don't automatically send tracking information. Though we do say to let us know if it's not arrived within a few days and we can track it down for you at that point.
  • Returns
    We take huge pride in every item that leaves The Crafty Lab, and we hope you’ll never need to return anything! 🖤 We’d never send out anything we wouldn’t be thrilled to receive ourselves, so rest assured—your order will be a beauty! ✨ But if you’re not completely happy with the quality, just drop us a message. Whether it’s advice, a repair, or a replacement, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. Since all our products are handmade to order and personalised just for you, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind or ordering errors.
